Jaffa o Jafa (en hebreo יָפוֹ,  Yāfō , en hebreo tiberiano Yāp̄ô; en árabe يَافَا,  Yāfā ; en latín Japho o Joppe, esta última del griego antiguo Ιόππη, Joppa; Jope o Joppe en diferentes traducciones de la Biblia al español[1]​) es una ciudad portuaria de Israel en la costa mediterránea, situada inmediatamente al sur de Tel Aviv, con la cual forma, desde 1950, una misma entidad municipal, Tel Aviv-Yafo, dentro del distrito de Tel Aviv.

Se ubica en la llanura costera de Israel, bañada por el mar Mediterráneo, y es considerada uno de los puertos más antiguos del mundo.[2]​ Su población se censa dentro del municipio que forma con Tel Aviv, y se estima en unos 54.000 habitantes; el 74% son judíos y el 26% árabes, la mayoría de los cuales residen en el barrio de Ajami.[3]

Jaffa es famosa por su asociación con las historias bíblicas de Jonás, Salomón y San Pedro, así como por la historia mitológica de Andrómeda y Perseo, y más tarde por sus naranjas.
